LVCC History

The Las Vegas Christian Center opened its doors in 1981 in a small storefront building on Bridge street. A couple sent by the Door Christian Fellowship Church of Tucson, Arizona pioneered the Christian Center. As the congregation grew in size, larger buildings were used until they finally built their own facility large enough to accommodate the congregation of two-hundred plus members and counting.

Over the past 25 years, fourteen couples have been sent out of the Las Vegas Christian Center into the Harvest Fields, having pastored churches in four states and three foreign countries.

The Las Vegas Christian Center continues to reach out to the community of Las Vegas, New Mexico with a range of ministries including C.A.R.E group ministry, Cutting Edge youth ministry, college ministry, Carpenter's Shop Sunday School, Saturday night outreach and Children's Church ministry. As the Lord Jesus tarries, the LVCC will continue to preach the gospel beginning in Las Vegas and in all New Mexico and America and to the utter most parts of the earth.
